Uruguayan entities: Carama de la Construccion del Uruguay and Corporacion Nacional para el Desarrollo invited to BIM6D to present our vision about what a Digital Twin is, the integration between two worlds, the world of digitalization for construction and facility management to the world of Building Management Systems (BMS), IoT and Data Analytics for the sector, so we are in a moment in where digitalization is expanding to new purposes to improve multiple factors, not only the production but also to arrive to new challenges like remote inspection, BigData Analytics coming from real time data monitored from the physical asset and the integration of multiple technologies to be able to manage in a more easy and seamless way our assets.

Joel Fortuny, a great professional who have leaded multiple digitalization and technology projects in BIM6D has presented our approach to DigitalTwins in a very simple way to understand, and presented POWERBIM digitaltwin platform which is the result of our research and development strategy based in the demand of our clients, a single platform to manage the lifecycle of the assets trough the data analytics and the integration of the more common used functionalities and tools for design, construction and facility management.

The digital paltform HOSPITECNIA, specialized in Infrastructures for the health sector has published our POWERBIM pilot project of remote inspection for 2 hospitals under construction for the Health Department of the governmet of Catalonia (Spain) within the action of health sector reinforcement under covid alarm, the work has been developed in collaboration with Enne Gestio.
