TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE INTEGRATION AND ADAPTATION OF BUILDING BIM MODELS OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE DISTRICT OF THE GOVERNMENT OF CATALUNYA FOR BUILDING FACILITY MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE

BIM6D Consulting & Performance has won the public tender for a new challenging project consisting in the TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE FOR THE INTEGRATION AND ADAPTATION OF BUILDING BIM MODELS OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE DISTRICT OF THE GOVERNMENT OF CATALUNYA FOR BUILDING FACILITY MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE. Code ECO-17219 (BIM), this project is positioning BIM6D as a BIM reference company to prepare digital content from construction (As built) to be ready to integrate to Facility Management platforms and Building Management Systems for Smart Buildings, so BIM6D is proposing to set the basis for a complete DigitalTwin to be used for building operations, thanks to include the use of POWERBIM platform in our proposal.
The contract is managed by Infraestructures de la Generalitat de Catalunya SAU whic is a public company of the Generalitat de Catalunya (Government of Catalonia) that has the status of the Administration of the Generalitat de Catalunya and its public sector.
The complex has a gross area of 58,587 m2, and has been designed by Batlle i Roig Arquitectura to accommodate all the Ministries of the Administration of the government of Catalunya. It is the first building in Catalonia to have the LEED PLATINUM and WELL certifications, which exhaustively measure the well-being of users, so we are proud to participate in a project totally aligned with our phylosphy in BIM6D: Professionals and technology to create better buildings, more sustainable, smart and energy efficient.

The main activities that we will develop in the contracted works, are aimed to prepare the As Built model created by Construction Companies Comsa and FCC we list below:
- BIM Execution Plan creation for Facility Management and Building Operations
- Adaptation of existing BIM models for the goals, using automation scripts (dynamo and others), and focusing in the data injection to obtain high quality Asset Information Models AIM.
- Facility Management Software and Systems integration test with the platform currently used
- POWERBIM prototype to integrate data insights coming from the building to the BIM Asset Information Model and to demostrate the ability to create a DigitalTwin for multiple use cases in a single platform.
